Jim Huddleston a krewe
member for 13 years was named king Gambrinus the XVIII, for 2007 .
His Coronation is Feb. 3, 2007. 
Galveston, TX .........Galveston tickets are already
on sale. The sponsored party this season took a page from the past
and decided that they did not want to wait to the last minute.
 
We have been promising web casts for
the past 3 years. Those web casts will in fact begin later this
year, as we begin to video the last of the outdoor scenes,
place our new remote cameras and complete our planned schedule.

from New Orleans, Galveston is fast learning what the
Krewes here have known for the last 150 years. They are quickly
leveling the playing field more as they too discover the ways
they can explore the commercial properties and the relief it brings
to the treasury of the small companies, the city serves.

Fri. 5pm-Midnight; Sat. 10am-Midnight; Sun. 10am-6pm
Mardi Gras! Galveston 2007 will be more of a traditional Mardi
Gras with a touch of carnival style. Traditional Mardi Gras
colors of green, gold, and purple will be displayed throughout the
streets of Galveston.
Two weekends of Mardi Gras! Galveston will be non-stop live
entertainment. More than 25 bands will perform on 3 stages in the
heart of Historic Downtown.
In addition to live music, the festivities include
10 parade processions with hundreds of krewe members dressed in
elaborate costumes. The Mardi Gras! Galveston celebration also
features art exhibits, sporting events, and elaborate masquerade
balls.

Krewe with us
The Gulf Coast is
full of organizations that put on shows every Carnival season
for hundreds of thousands of revelers each year. Some are secret,
most are not. We get request each year for membership, parade
participation, costume purchases, or schools & universities
wanting to know more about the history of the group. Please register
with us and provide a contact so we may pass on requests,
proposals, and etc.
