The Events
Mardi Gras events incorporate more than the Festivals, throughout New Orleans, the entire state of Louisiana,  the gulf coast, and the U.S. This celebration has been described, as the most varied, yet, comprehensive set of events of its kind in this part of the world.  The events we will cover will encompass the preparations for the annual 600 + Parades  throughout the streets of Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Washington, D.C. and parts of Arkansas, and Georgia.

 During times, other than, during the Carnival season, times were, that an estimated 21,725,000 visitor's visit the Gulf Coast of the U.S. During Carnival season, that number swells to more than 56 million as the celebrations begins to get underway.

 The locals, that either want to attend or actually do attend, varied venues and neighborhoods celebrations from Treme' to areas along St. Charles Av. in New Orleans,  to the Strand in Galveston Isle, to the beaches of Panama City Beach, Fla, and wharfs of Tampa Bay,  are all looking for places and people that can tell them where they can see a REAL piece of Carnival. Mardi Gras in action!

 They find it in, Second Lines, Mardi Gras Indians, Brass bands, fundraisers, practices, and other events that are of interest to tourist and locals alike. Since Katrina, the events are still taking place, but at a much reduced rate. We will cover the damage to these venues and other areas not covered by the national media and watch these areas regain their footing.
