Culture Falls Back On it's Roots to
Survive

Wednesday, October 21,
2009 Hammond, La. ...... Clubs now
falling back on the traditional services that were rendered when they were
providing them in the early 19th and 20th centuries. The old style
professional services at funerals, parties, parades and events are now once
again available to the general public at large.
The costs are reasonable and the service is quality driven
as it was more than 200 years ago. Of course no one can match what these clubs
started yet we attempt to do every chance we get.
Truth be told, there are none better than the originals, and
the professional clubs who use to render the final call to all New
Orleanians.
Call a club today and relive a REAL Second Line!!!

The Sudan Pair Up w/ the

procession from the entrance of the center to the streets near
Armstrong Park Sunday marking their Anniversary in the city.
Still sporting the Social Aid & Pleasure moniker this is one of
the older clubs still on the streets in the city. The character of
the club reflects the age as did the fashion sported this season.
Also testifying to this fact, in one of the season's better days,
was the route and its layout.
