Profiles: Sudan Social & Pleasure Club
![]() |
Started in 1983 by the late Archie L Chapman, the Sudan continued to be a force in the Main Line Culture. They revel in their African culture the way others hold their families in high regard. It was in 1984, that the club was acknowledged however as they put their first parade on the streets. Before he could complete his final vision of the club, the founder went home to glory in 1986, a mere two years after founding the organization. The membership now parades in November and the founders home is a stop to pay homage to it's fallen founder. The club to date has no website known to us but we will try to keep up with the club's activities through out the year. |
