As a Carnival News source, Mardi Gras Digest, is committed to do serious research of how certain traditions of the New Orleans Mardi Gras and the mobile celebrations began. We are constantly in the libraries of New Orleans, Jefferson Parish, the archives of Mobile Register, the state museums, The Times-Picayune, Tulane University, and the special sections division of the Amistad Research Ctr. and now other sources, aross the additional four states that we have begun to cover to chronicle the industry.
We will slowly, and patiently, research each subject and report back to the site, with those results. Please be patient, as we acquire the knowledge needed to send an accurate report to the research sections on all reported subjects. Our research policy requires that sources on the material be listed, and verified.
Need to know about a subject not listed? Email us here at the digest And we'll research it for you.....
