Krewe Profiles, Stories and Trends!     This month.......

Carlos San Nicolas, Mardi Gras Costume Designer had already designed Aquila's Ball and Parade for the 2010 season, before learning that the krewe would not be active, again this season. The sad news was hardly what "San" had anticipated since he knew the captain is a strong leader and was more than able to bring the krewe back from the brink. He didn't want to waste the designs however, and decided to share them with us. So we are very privileged to be able to present to you, with the top designer's assistance, Aquila's Final Ball and theme .....  "2010: That's Entertainment!" [ ...] Pictured Right:  San Nicolas stands between two of his costume creations.
