The Gulf Coast is full of
wonderful organizations. Some are secret, most are not.
We get request each year for membership, parade participation, costume purchase,
themes, or just school students wanting to know more about the history of the
groups and organizations that are out there. Please register with us and provide a contact
information, along with your logo and a brief 4 paragraph biography of your
krewe, second Line, etc., so we may pass on
requests, proposals, and etc.

We don't mind people using our stories and images! But why steal from us when you can have it just for the
asking?

Please
help us take notice of your Krewes efforts and happenings in
your city. Submit to us your city's parade, krewe activities, so we can list it here
and increase the attention that you get. Click

choose his Queen.

We have been promising
web casts for the past 3 years. Those web casts will in fact begin later this year, as we begin to video the last of
the outdoor scenes, place our new remote cameras and complete our planned schedule.
In Krewe Business
The Indian nation and the
second line culture are learning what the Krewes have known for the last 150
years. They are starting to incorporate their respective clubs at an
accelerated rate. Leveling the playing field more as they too discover the
ways the y can explore the non-profit tax status and the relief it brings to
the treasury of the small companies, they now own.

Next Season Costumes look to
Inspire Hope !
New
Orleans / Mobile ..... According to sources, next year's costumes are
shaping up to be seen as themes to inspire hope and the common good!
Most of the seamstresses in
Mobile, Shreveport, and Texas are getting in themes that allow the festival to
pick up the level of energy and enable the fans and the riders, the leisure of
awe inspiring floats that splash color and glimmer in more glitter than
usual.
It should be a great 2010 season!
Meanwhile the Mainlines are about to go into their hot weather break for the
season with just three more second lines before the break.
Fashions with the clubs this
season have been noticeably color muted as less and less loud colors hit the
streets this year!

The Biloxi, MS organization,
"Second Liners", has the unique distinction of being one of the
regions, double nickel clubs. An organization that is a civic
organization as well as a Krewe. There are only 9 such clubs in the entire gulf
coast.
